Matt’s practice centers on the representation of landlords and tenants in commercial and residential lease related matters. Additionally, Matt spends time litigating on behalf of our clients in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. Matt has a significant amount of courtroom experience representing property management companies, banks, and other national and locally based creditors in civil trials and appeals. He has handled both plaintiff and defense work and he has presented oral argument before the Virginia Supreme Court.
Matt received a Bachelor of Arts from Villanova University and a Juris Doctor from the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, where he was published in the Journal of Contemporary Health Law And Policy. He is admitted to practice in Virginia, Maryland, the District of Columbia, and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
